To close your DraftKings account, you have two convenient options. You can visit the 'Close Account' page to close your DraftKings account or follow the easy step-by-step guide outlined below. If you’d like to reopen your account, you can learn more about how to reactivate your DraftKings account. 

DraftKings offers the options to self-exclude, cool off, and self-limit. If, at any point, you think you're spending too much time or money on DraftKings, you have the option of taking a break from DraftKings entirely. Self-limiting allows you to still play, however, within the parameters that you set for yourself.

Close your DraftKings account

You can decide to close your DraftKings account at any time and for any reason.

Ensure you withdraw any available funds before closing your account. If you close your account before withdrawing your funds, you will need to reactivate your account in order to log back in and request a withdrawal or contact DraftKings Support. How to close your account via the DraftKings app

  1. Log into your DraftKings account. 
  2. Tap your profile photo in the top right corner.
  3. Scroll down to General and tap Log in & Security. 
  4. Tap Login Security Preferences.
  5. Scroll down to Account then tap Close Account 
    • Before closing your account you will be provided the option to withdraw your remaining balance. To withdraw your balance tap Withdraw Funds under step one. 
  6. Select the reason you are closing your account by tapping Reason for closure
  7. Tap Continue
  8. Enter your password and tap Yes, Close My Account.  

How to close your account on a desktop or laptop

  1. Log into your DraftKings account. 
  2. Click your profile photo in the top right corner and click Account Information.
  3. On the left rail, click Login & Security. 
    • Note: On smaller screens, the left rail may become a dropdown in the top center of the screen. 
  4. Scroll down to Account and click Close Account. 
      • Before closing your account you will be provided the option to withdraw your remaining balance. To withdraw your balance tap Withdraw Funds under step one. 
  5. Select the reason you are closing your account by tapping Reason for closure.
  6. Tap Continue.
  7. Enter your password and tap Yes, Close My Account.

How to close your account on mobile web 

  1. Log into your DraftKings account. 
  2. Tap the 3 line icon in the left corner of your screen
  3. Tap the gear icon in the bottom left.
  4. Tap Account Information. 
  5. Tap the drop-down that reads Personal Information and tap Login & Security. 
  6. Scroll down and tap Close Account under Account. 
  7. Complete the closure form and tap Continue.
    1. Important: Be sure to withdraw any available funds at this time. Once closed, you won't be able to log into your account.
  8. Re-enter your password and tap Yes, Close My Account.

Permanently close/delete your DraftKings account

You can decide to permanently close/delete your DraftKings account at any time and for any reason.
