What is a bet resettlement?
A bet resettlement is when the settlement status of your bet (win, loss, void) is modified due to previously being settled incorrectly. This can result in either a debiting of, or crediting to your account. Below are some examples of potential resettlement situations:
-
- If your bet is incorrectly settled as a “win”, your account has been credited with winnings in error. If that bet is resettled to “void”, the incorrectly credited winnings will be debited from your account and the stake will be credited to your account. If that bet is resettled as a “loss”, the incorrectly credited winnings and stake will be debited from your account.
- If your bet is incorrectly settled as a “void”, your account has been credited with the amount of your stake in error. If your bet is resettled as a “win”, you will be credited with the amount you stood to win from the bet, minus your stake, which remained in your account. If your bet is resettled as a “loss”, your stake will be debited from your account.
- If your bet is incorrectly settled as a loss, your stake has been debited from your account in error. If your bet is resettled as a “win”, you will be credited with the amount you stood to win from the bet. If your bet is resettled as a “void” you will be credited with your stake.
