Overview
Pick6 contest entries are scored based on the number of correct picks made by participants. A portion of the total prize pool for each contest is pre-assigned to entries with a certain number of correct picks. Winning entries receive a share of the prizes as described in each contest’s prize table.
For example, a 5-Pick NFL contest with a $10,000 total prize pool may have the following prize structure:
5/5 Correct: Splits $8,000
4/ 5 Correct: Splits $2,000
In this example, all entries having 5/5 correct would win a share of the $8,000. The exact share would be calculated based on the amount of Standing Points for each entry. Learn more about how Standings Points are calculated.
What is Minimum Payout?
If your Pick6 contest entry finishes with enough correct picks to be prize eligible, you will receive the Minimum Payout equal to the minimum guaranteed multiplier for your prize tier as soon as DraftKings has verified the stat results for the related games. The Minimum Payout may process in advance of the final contest results, in which time any additional winnings will be paid out as Extra Contest Prizes.
What are Extra Contest Prizes?
Extra Contest Prizes refers to the amount of your entry’s total contest winnings minus the Minimum Payout. Once all games in the Pick Group have finished and stats are verified, your pick results will be compared to the entries you competed against. If your share of contest prizes exceeds the minimum guaranteed multiplier, you will receive this extra payout.
