What are DraftKings MegaPool Jackpot, PowerPool Jackpot, and Lincoln Jackpot Pools?

DraftKings MegaPool Jackpot, PowerPool Jackpot, and Lincoln Jackpot Pools are Pool contests that allows players to win a jackpot and be crowned winner if they can correctly answer all 15 questions.

If any entry gets all 15 questions correct, the lucky player will be awarded the entire jackpot!

What is the difference between DraftKings MegaPool Jackpot, PowerPool Jackpot, and Lincoln Jackpot Pool?

  • MegaPool and PowerPool Jackpots run on alternate days. Lincoln Jackpot Pools run daily.
  • MegaPool Jackpots: Typically lock at 7 PM EST, but this depends on game start times.
  • PowerPool Jackpots: Lock at 7 PM EST on Tuesdays/Thursdays, and early afternoon on Sundays, depending on game times. Lock time will be before the start time or at start time of the “first game”.
  • Lincoln Jackpot Pools: Typically lock at 7 PM EST daily, but this depends on game start times.

Key Pool Details:

  • Pool entry fees: 
    • MegaPool & PowerPool: $2
    • Lincoln Jackpot Pool: $5
  • Max entries: ten (10) per day per player per pool
  • Prize pool: Starts at $2,000 minimum, subject to change. DraftKings has the sole discretion to change this amount for future editions.
  • Entries close at the pool lock time. It depends on the game start time, but the pool lock time is usually around 7 PM EST, except on Sundays. On Sundays, the pool lock time is in the early afternoon.
  • Late entries are not accepted.
  • If multiple players get all 15 questions correct on a given day, the players who tied will split the jackpot prize.
  • In the event of game cancellations, postponements, or voids, the contest will still run if 14 questions on the card are capable of completion. If fewer than 14 questions are capable of completion, the day’s contest will be canceled and entry fees will be refunded.
  • The leaderboard for every iteration of the contest will be public.

What if I didn’t submit my entry before the contest locked?

If you didn’t submit an entry before the contest locks, you can’t participate or win that day.

 

Can I edit or withdraw my entry? 

You can edit picks before the pool starts. However, once entered, withdrawals aren’t allowed.

 

Who determines the winner?

Winners will be determined by DraftKings in accordance with the criteria outlined in the DraftKings Pool Game Conditions.

 

Who determines a correct pick?

A correct pick will be determined by DraftKings, subject to the applicable Pool Game Conditions and DraftKings house rules. Picks are settled on the official result published by the governing body or as otherwise verified by DraftKings.
After the settlement of a Pool and corresponding payment of the prize Pool if applicable, any subsequent corrections or amendments by the governing body to the result will not apply. Where DraftKings determines that an error was made, including on the Pool Game Conditions, the Pool card, including errors in listings of events or picks, or in the settlement of a Pool, DraftKings reserves the right to correct such error. DraftKings may then settle or resettle the pool with the corrected information or treat all affected picks or events as correct picks for settlement purposes.
