How do I manage the GeoComply Player Location Check plug-in? (US)

Important Information

The GeoComply Player Location Check plug-in is only required for devices that aren’t using a DraftKings mobile app or don’t have built-in GPS/Bluetooth/Wi-Fi location services.

The GeoComply plugin should automatically download to your device when required, however, you may need to manually add, remove, or restart the plugin while troubleshooting. 

Managing the plug-in on a PC

How to install the plugin on a PC

  1. Select GeoComply plug-in for PC
    • DraftKings Installation Player Location Check.exe will automatically begin to download.
  2. Double click on the download to open and install the Player Location Check plug-in. 

How to restart the plug-in on a PC

  1. Enter Ctrl + Alt + Delete on your keyboard and click Task Manager. 
  2. Locate Player Location Check from the list of running programs and click on it once. 
  3. Click End task. 
  4. Navigate back to the DraftKings product you’d like to use and log in. The Player Location Check will automatically reopen. 

How to uninstall the plug-in on a PC

  1. Open the Control Panel. 
  2. Below Programs, click Uninstall a program.
  3. Locate Player Location Check in the list of programs and click on it once. 
  4. Depending on your OS
    • Click Uninstall in the gray bar at the top of the list.
    • Click Change/Remove to the right of the program. 
  5. Following the remaining prompts to complete uninstall.

How to install the plug-in on a Mac

  1. Select GeoComply plug-in for Mac
    • DraftKings Installation Player Location Check.dmg will automatically begin to download.
  2. Double click on the download to open and install the Player Location Check plug-inGeocomply download image MAC.png
  3. You may be asked to approve installation of supporting services and to allow your location to be used by the Player Location Check software.

How to restart the plug-in on a Mac

  1. Click the Apple menu and select System Settings. 
  2. Locate the Player Location Check icon in the bottom row of the System Settings window.
  3. Click the lock button and enter your password, if required. 
  4. Click Restart.

  5. Navigate back to the DraftKings product you’d like to use and log in. The Player Location Check will automatically reopen. 

How to uninstall the GeoComply plug-in on a Mac

  1. Click the Apple menu and select System Settings. 
  2. Locate the Player Location Check icon in the bottom row of the System Settings window.
  3. Click the lock to make changes. Enter your password, if required.
  4. Select Uninstall and confirm.
