Important: The GeoComply Player Location Check plugin is only required for devices that aren’t using a DraftKings mobile app or don’t have built-in GPS/Bluetooth/Wi-Fi location services.
The GeoComply plugin should automatically download to your device when required, however, you may need to manually add, remove, or restart the plugin while troubleshooting.
Managing the plugin on a PC
To install the plugin:
- Select GeoComply plug-in for PC
- DraftKings Installation Player Location Check.exe will automatically begin to download.
- Double click on the download to open and install the Player Location Check plugin.
To restart the plugin:
- Enter Ctrl + Alt + Delete on your keyboard and click Task Manager.
- Locate Player Location Check from the list of running programs and click on it once.
- Click End task.
- Navigate back to the DraftKings product you’d like to use and log in. The Player Location Check will automatically reopen.
To uninstall the plugin:
- Open the Control Panel.
- Below Programs, click Uninstall a program.
- Locate Player Location Check in the list of programs and click on it once.

Depending on your OS.
- Click Uninstall in the gray bar at the top of the list.
- Click Change/Remove to the right of the program.
- Following remaining prompts to complete uninstall.
Managing the plugin on a Mac
To install the plugin:
- Select GeoComply plug-in for Mac
- DraftKings Installation Player Location Check.dmg will automatically begin to download.
- Double click on the download to open and install the Player Location Check plugin.
To restart the plugin:
- Click the Apple menu and select System Preferences.
- Locate the Player Location Check icon in the bottom row of the System Preferences window.
- Click the lock button on the bottom right of the icon, and enter your password, if required.
- Click Restart.
- Navigate back to the DraftKings product you’d like to use and log in. The Player Location Check will automatically reopen.
To uninstall the GeoComply plugin:
- Click the Apple menu and select System Preferences.
- Locate the Player Location Check icon in the bottom row of the System Preferences window.
- Right click on the Player Location Check icon and click Remove Player Location Check Preference Pane.
Note: If your connection is Not Secure, please update your OS to High Sierra or later or use a different device.
