How to transfer your NFTs - Overview (US)

To claim your Custodial Wallet and transfer your NFTs from such Custodial Wallet, you will need to follow the steps outlined below.  Please note that some of these steps are time sensitive. You must record your wallet address and private key within thirty (30) days of first clicking “Reveal Wallet Credentials” on the DraftKings Custodial Wallet page because for security reasons they will no longer be available to you after such time.

Your Custodial Wallet and transfer of your NFTs from your Custodial Wallet is subject to the DraftKings Marketplace Transfer Terms and Conditions, and your NFTs remain subject to the DraftKings Marketplace Terms of Use.

Important Information

  • We strongly recommend that you move all your NFTs out of your custodial wallet and into a wallet that you have created. Do NOT move any assets into your custodial wallet.
  • Only certain NFTs that remained in your DraftKings account on the DraftKings Marketplace as of October 31, 2024, at 12:01 a.m. EST, are available in your custodial wallet. Please see the DraftKings Marketplace Transfer Terms and Conditions for more details.
  • Your NFTs remain subject to the DraftKings Marketplace Terms of Use and any Supplier Terms.
  • In the event you choose not to accept the DraftKings Marketplace Transfer Terms and Conditions, please visit them for information concerning an alternative way to get your NFTs.

Accessing Your Custodial Wallet

Step 1: Install a Third-Party Digital Wallet Application if You Do Not Already Have One

1. If you do not already have one, you must install a third-party digital wallet application that supports private key imports in accordance with the installation instructions provided by that application provider.

2. Solely for your convenience and information, some third-party options are identified below. DraftKings is not affiliated with any of these third-party digital wallet applications and makes no recommendations or representations regarding any third-party digital wallet application.

    • MetaMask (App and web plug in)
    • Trust Wallet (App and web plug in)
    • Phantom Wallet (App and web plug in)

3. Once you have a third-party digital wallet application, you should make sure you have the latest version of the mobile app and/or browser extension for the third-party digital wallet installed.

Step 2: Claim your Wallet Information from the DraftKings Custodial Wallet Page

1. Visit the DraftKings Custodial Wallet page, or go to https://myaccount.draftkings.com/custodialwallet.

2. Once you are at the DraftKings Custodial Wallet page, click the “Reveal Wallet Credentials” button. Clicking this button will reveal the wallet address and private key for your Custodial Wallet.

3. IMMEDIATELY COPY AND STORE YOUR WALLET ADDRESS AND PRIVATE KEY IN A SECURE PLACE.

4. For security reasons, your private key cannot be reset or recovered, so make sure your private key is securely backed up in a safe, offline location. Never share your private key with anyone.

IMPORTANT:  The wallet address and private key for your Custodial Wallet will remain accessible to you through DraftKings for thirty (30) days after you first click the “Reveal Wallet Credentials” button. After such thirty (30) day period, DraftKings will delete the wallet address and private key for your Custodial Wallet.  This deletion is necessary to ensure the security of your Custodial Wallet. DraftKings cannot reset or change the wallet address and/or private key for your Custodial Wallet, and once your wallet address and private key for your Custodial Wallet have been deleted, DraftKings will not be able to provide you with your wallet address and private key.

Step 3: Import/Restore Your Custodial Wallet

1. You will need to import your Custodial Wallet into the third-party digital wallet application that you installed during Step 1 in accordance with the instructions to import a new wallet provided by your third-party digital wallet application. The steps for importing your Custodial Wallet into the third-party digital wallet applications may vary depending on the application you use.

Sample Instructions

For illustration purposes only, below are sample instructions for importing your Custodial Wallet into a third-party digital wallet application provided by MetaMask. DraftKings is not affiliated with MetaMask and makes no recommendations or representations regarding it or any other third-party digital wallet application. Please make sure to follow MetaMask’s own instructions as the below is for illustrative purposes only.

a. MetaMask: Before importing your Custodial Wallet, you must log into your existing account or create a new wallet if you don’t already have an account.

b. Then follow these instructions provided by MetaMask to import your Custodial Wallet. For trust wallet view these instructions. For phantom wallet view these instructions (scroll down to “Import Existing Private Keys”).

2. During this process you will need to input the private key provided to you by DraftKings for your Custodial Wallet. This process is commonly referred to as ‘Import” or “Restore”, but your third-party digital wallet may use different terminology.

3. Regardless of the third-party digital wallet application you use, you must enter your private key for your Custodial Wallet exactly as it was provided to you by DraftKings.

4. If you encounter a problem and don’t see your NFTs please verify that you entered your private key for your Custodial Wallet exactly as it was provided to you by DraftKings.

Important: Move your NFTs out of your Custodial Wallet

We strongly recommend that you move all your NFTs out of your Custodial Wallet and into your third-party digital wallet. The “Import” or “Restore” feature described above will not move your NFTs out of your Custodial Wallet. In order to do that, you must follow the steps below.

Please note that transferring NFTs into your third-party digital wallet may require payment of gas fees, which you are solely responsible for. Learn more about gas fees. DraftKings has no control over the gas fees and does not receive any portion of them.

Do NOT move any assets into your Custodial Wallet.

Step 1: Open Your Third-Party Digital Wallet

After you complete the steps above, open the browser extension or mobile app for your third-party digital wallet application (e.g. MetaMask), and make sure you are logged in.

Step 2: View Your NFTs

1. Visit an NFT marketplace (e.g., OpenSea) or another wallet interface that supports the polygon network, and connect your third-party digital wallet that you created via steps 1-3 above.

2. Navigate to the “Profile” or similar section in the NFT marketplace to view your NFTs stored on the Polygon network.

Step 3: Transfer your NFTs from Your Custodial Wallet to a Wallet that You’ve Created in Your Third-Party Digital Wallet Application

1. Click on the NFT you want to transfer from your Custodial Wallet to a wallet that you have created in your third-party digital wallet application and click the “Transfer”, “Send”, or similar button.

a. On OpenSea click the “...” icon and then select “transfer”.

2. Input the wallet address for a wallet you created in your third-party digital wallet application (make sure the receiving wallet supports Polygon-based NFTs).

3. Review the details of the transfer. Ensure that the wallet address you entered is correct. INCORRECTLY ENTERING A WALLET ADDRESS AT THIS STEP MAY RESULT IN THE PERMANENT LOSS OF YOUR NFTS. Then, review any gas fees and click the Confirm or similar button when prompted.

4. Once the transaction is confirmed, the NFT will be moved from your Custodial Wallet to the new wallet. You can verify the transfer by checking the destination wallet’s NFT section.
