What are Picks with multipliers?

  • Some picks will be available with Pick Multipliers. You can find these picks by looking for the orange lightning bolt icon beneath them. The Pick Multiplier is the value next to the lightning bolt.
  • A Pick’s Multiplier will impact the lineup’s minimum guaranteed multiplier and how the lineup’s share of contest prizes are calculated.

Can Pick Multipliers change?

Yes, Pick Multipliers can change after they have been posted. The Pick Multipliers at the time you submit your Pick Set are the Pick Multipliers your picks will be scored at.

How do Pick Multipliers impact a lineup’s minimum guaranteed multiplier?

Your minimum guaranteed multiplier is calculated by multiplying the base lineup multiplier of the sport and pick tier by the Pick Multiplier of all the picks in your lineup, capped at a max minimum guaranteed multiplier.

For example, you make a $1 3-pick NFL lineup:

  • Base Multiplier = 5x
  • Pick 1 Multiplier = 1x
  • Pick 2 Multiplier = 1.2x
  • Pick 3 Multiplier = 1.3x
  • Max Minimum Guaranteed Multiplier = 80x

Your minimum guaranteed multiplier for this lineup is 7.8x (5x * 1x * 1.2x * 1.3x)

How do Pick Multipliers impact contest prizes?

  • To account for different Pick Multipliers in lineups, all lineups will be awarded Standings Points.
  • Standings Points are calculated by multiplying your entry fee by your correct pick’s Pick Multipliers.
  • Standings Points can be found for each contest by downloading the contest CSV on your Recent Picks tab on desktop.

For example, your $1 3-pick NFL lineup from the example above is entered into a contest with $10,000 in prizes for the 3/3 payout tier. All three of your picks are correct:

  • Entry Fee = $1
  • Pick 1 Multiplier = 1x
  • Pick 2 Multiplier = 1.2x
  • Pick 3 Multiplier = 1.3x

Your Standings Points for this lineup are 1.56 ($1 * 1x * 1.2x * 1.3x)

Your contest winnings are calculated by taking your share of all the standings points at the payout tier and multiplying by the guaranteed prize pool at the payout tier. Continuing with the example above:

  • Your Standings Points = 1.56
  • Total Standings Points = 1,560
  • Guaranteed Prizes = $10,000

Your contest winnings for this lineup are $10 ((1.56/1,560) * $10,000). The winning for this lineup would appear as $7.80 in Minimum Payout and $2.20 in Extra Contest Prizes.

Is there a limit to how much I can win?

  • Each pick level will have a maximum minimum guaranteed payout. This is the highest minimum guarantee multiplier that a lineup in that sport and pick level can receive.
  • Lineups can win more than the guaranteed minimum multiplier based on contest results.
  • You can still submit a lineup that has hit the minimum guarantee limit. The minimum guarantee limit does not limit the calculation of Standings Points.
