Depositing on DraftKings - overview (US)

Important things to keep in mind as you deposit:  

• DraftKings encourages you to play responsibly and allows you to set daily, weekly or monthly limits on the amount you deposit into your account.
• Deposits must be made with a payment method that is registered in your name.
• Deposits made using a certain payment method may not be available for use on another product. 
• Payment processors have the discretion to approve or deny deposits on DraftKings.
• The deposit methods available to you will depend on your location and the product you're depositing for. You'll only be presented with deposit methods available for that product and location at the time of deposit.

Accepted deposit methods:

Deposit methods vary by jurisdiction and not every payment method listed below will be available in all jurisdictions. In jurisdictions where allowed, DraftKings accepts the following payment methods:

*Please note that while DraftKings gift cards may be available for purchase and use in your state, they are subject to jurisdictional approval. We ask that you please contact DraftKings Customer Support to confirm the availability of gift cards in the state you or the gift card recipient intended to use the funds in.

Details on each deposit method:

• Online Banking: Connect your bank for a streamlined deposit process using your bank's username and password. An initial deposit using the same bank account is required to withdraw using this method.
• VIP preferred e-check: Select VIP preferred e-check on the deposit screen to enter your bank account and ID verification details.
• PayPal: Select PayPal on the deposit screen, and enter your login details to connect your PayPal account to DraftKings. 
  • Business accounts can't be used for deposits.

• Credit or Debit cards: Select Debit or Credit from the deposit screen and enter your card details.
  • American Express is only available for deposits to Fantasy.
• Cash/Cage: Deposit at a retail location. To do this, select 'cash' on the deposit screen. This will create a one-time barcode for use at any participating retail location, such as Family Dollar, CVS Pharmacy, Dollar General, and 7-Eleven. You can also deposit in-person via participating cage locations.
  • You can deposit up to $500 in cash per day.
  • To deposit at a participating cage location please ensure you bring a valid-government issued photo ID.
• Venmo: Select Venmo on the deposit screen and select the amount you want to deposit.
  • You can deposit up to $2,999.99 per transaction and up to $5,999.99 per week.
• Play+ Prepaid Card: Select Play+ Prepaid Card on the deposit screen, and enter your Play+ card details. 
  • Please register with Play+ Prepaid Card prior to making a deposit.  
• Wire transfer: Select Wire Transfer on the deposit screen and note the DraftKings banking details you'll need for your transfer. 
  • Wire transfers have a minimum deposit of $100.
• Electronic Gift Card: Select Debit or Credit from the deposit screen and enter your gift card details.
  • To use an electronic gift card, please first register the card with your name and address.
  • DraftKings reserves the right to refund deposits back to the original payment method.
  • We recommend you keep your gift card, in the event a refund is issued to this method.
  • American Express doesn't support deposits to Sportsbook or Casino. 
• DraftKings Gift Card: Select Gift Card on the deposit screen and enter your gift card details. 
  • DraftKings gift cards may be purchased at select retail specialty stores.
