Two-factor authentication (2FA), also known as multi-factor authentication, is a way to add an extra layer of security to your account. When 2FA is enabled on your account, or you’re geolocated within Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania DraftKings performs 2FA via SMS text message to ensure the safety of your account.
Each time you log into your account, a unique code will be generated and sent to you as a text message on your phone. You'll then be required to enter that number as a second step of your login process.
