Why am I getting a Duplicate Account message?

A Duplicate Account message indicates that our systems have detected one or more accounts were created.

Creating multiple accounts is considered a violation of our Terms and Conditions and may result in a restriction on all your accounts. Additionally, winnings from accounts other than your original one may not be honored. 

If you have unintentionally created a duplicate account and you remember the login details for your original account, please log into your original account and continue using your original account. You can contact us to have the duplicate account removed. 

If you no longer have access to the email address used for your original account, click on the Update Your Account link. There you will be prompted to provide your full Social Security Number (SSN) to verify ownership of the account. 

If this form of verification also fails, we will need your:

  • DraftKings username 
  • Home address
  • Payment method information, such as the last 4 digits of your card card/debit card 
  • Email address

This information will be reviewed by our Customer Support Team. After the review a member of the team will reach out to you and assist you with restoring your original account. All duplicate accounts will be disabled.
