What are Crowns?

Crowns are a form of currency used by DraftKings players. They have no cash value but can be used on DraftKings to directly enter into contests. Crowns can also be used to purchase items in the DraftKings Shop. 

Crowns can be redeemed for DK Dollars or Casino credits. Note that the option to redeem crowns for Casino credits is only available for states where Casino games are offered by DraftKings. Learn more about redeeming Crowns.

  • Casino Credits can be used on select games, excluding Electric Poker. Not all Casino games are available in each jurisdiction.

Crown balances are universal across Fantasy Sports, Sportsbook, Pick6, DK Horse, and Casino. This means if you earn Crowns playing Fantasy Sports, they’ll be available to you for Sportsbook and Casino games as well. The more you play, the more crowns you earn.

Important Information:

  • Crown Balances on DraftKings products aren’t shared with Golden Nugget Online Gaming Casino. Any Crowns earned remain on your DraftKings account and remain separate from your Golden Nugget Online Gaming account.
  • Crown and Tier Credit accrual rates are subject to change. Your participation in the Dynasty Rewards Program is governed by the Dynasty Rewards Rules & Policy. Learn more about the Rules and Policy. 
  • Be aware your Crowns balance won’t be visible within the DK Horse app or website. For up-to-date information on your Crowns, view your Crowns balance with any of the other DraftKings Products.

  • Note: Earn rates are subject to change and accruals may vary depending on the game and player's location.
  • 550 crowns are redeemable for equal to $1 DK Dollar or $1 in Casino Credits.

For Sportsbook and Casino Accrual

  • Odds must be -1000 or larger to accrue crowns
  • Cashed out or Voided bets do not accrue crowns
  • Live Dealer Craps is not eligible for crown accrual
