Connecticut two-factor authentication (2FA) - overview

Important: DraftKings Customer Service will never ask you to confirm a code that was sent to your device. If someone asks you for the code, please change your password immediately.

Customers who are geolocated in Connecticut (CT) are required by the state regulator to log into DraftKings Sportsbook and Casino via two-factor authentication (2FA). 2FA is an extra layer of protection for you and helps to ensure the ongoing security of your account.

What this means for customers using Sportsbook or Casino in Connecticut:

  • You’ll need to provide DraftKings with a mobile phone number.
  • At each login, you’ll receive a unique code for DraftKings via SMS to the mobile number you provided.
  • You won’t be able to access your DraftKings Sportsbook or Casino account without entering a correct user name, password, and 2FA code.
